Where we sail

Three islands, short hops between them

The Maltese Islands are small, so you can cover a lot of coastline in a single day. Routes change with the wind and the sea, and the skipper picks the most sheltered spots on the day.

CominoClear, shallow water and quiet coves
GozoHigh cliffs, caves and a slower pace
Malta's north baysSandy anchorages, good for swimming

What a typical day sail looks like

No schedule to keep. Here is roughly how the day goes, though the sea always has a say.

Morning: cast off

Meet the skipper at the marina, get a quick safety briefing, stow your bags and head out along the coast.

Midday: anchor and swim

Drop anchor in a calm bay. Swim, snorkel or stay in the shade while lunch comes out.

Afternoon: sail home

Set the sails for the trip back. Take a turn at the helm if you want to, or simply enjoy the breeze.

On every trip

The basics are covered

  • A qualified, local skipper on board
  • Safety equipment and a full briefing
  • Snorkelling gear for swim stops
  • Shade on deck and fresh water
  • Routes planned around the day's weather
  • No sailing experience needed
